Operations Manager
Palletways Birmingham is looking to appoint an experienced Operations Manager based at their Fradley site in Lichfield.
The ideal candidate must be CPC qualified and any further relevant qualifications would be advantageous. Of exceptional calibre you will have at least 3 years operational experience, preferably within a 3PL/palletised environment.
A strong knowledge of transport and Health & Safety legislation is crucial to the role to ensure that all operational practices are in line with Company Health & Safety policies and to ensure that regular Health & Safety audits are conducted.
Good organisational skills and effective communication skills will be essential in order to deal with staff/customers at all levels within this busy environment. This role will suit a hands-on man-manager who can deal with the day-to-day activities and issues of a busy transport operation.

Indoor Sales Executive
Palletways are looking to appoint an Indoor Sales Executive for their Greenford Depot.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, responsibilities will include telephone cold calling, generating new leads, database maintenance, remote account management, sales administration duties, diary management for the Sales Manager and the reporting of new business volumes and activity levels.
The ideal candidate will be results orientated with a proven track record in telesales ideally within a logistics environment. Enthusiastic, self motivated and persistent, you will be articulate with an excellent telephone manner and strong organisational and inter-personal skills.

Customer Services Assistant
Palletways are currently looking to recruit a Customer Services Assistant to join their extremely busy Corporate Sales team.
The ideal candidate will have a confident telephone manner, IT literacy, strong organisation skills, excellent attention to detail, enthusiasm and a commitment to providing first class customer service. Previous experience within a Customer Service environment along with the ability to handle consistent, high volumes of calls is essential.
Flexibility is a pre-requisite as the hours covered by the position on rotating shifts are between 07:00 and 18:00 Monday to Friday. There is also a requirement to work a Saturday shift from 08:00 to 12:00 on a rota basis and potentially provide occasional late shift cover up until 20:00 week days.

Fork Lift Truck Driver
Palletways Scotland is seeking to recruit a night FLT Driver to join their busy operation based at Livingston.
The overall remit of the position is to ensure the smooth and effective loading & unloading of trunk vehicles to ensure on-time departures, bay checks and the clearing of bays in the hub.
The ideal candidate must be flexible and a team player. 3 years previous experience of using a counter balance forklift truck is essential.
Hours of work are 20:00 – 04:00, Monday night to Saturday morning.
