Alun Cathcart is non executive Chairman van of Palletways Group Limited. He is tevens Chairman van Avis Europe. Alun werkte 14 jaar in leiding gevende posities binnen de transport sector voordat hij aantrad bij Avis Europe in 1980 en werd Chief Executive in 1983. Tot januari 1999 was hij Chairman en Chief Executive van Avis Europe plc. Alun had ook bestuurs functies bij de Selfridges Group, Rank Corporation en EMAP
